After completing the course you can: prepare the hoof correctly (cleaning, roughening and protecting the sole); dry-fit and place the pad with the right fit; carry out the gluing with the right technique and curing time; recognise and avoid the most common mistakes; remove the pad safely without damaging the hoof wall; and know when a farrier or vet should be brought in.
