The most common mistakes: a moist or dusty surface (the glue lets go), too short a curing time (the pad twists), the wrong size (gaps or pressure), and too much glue (hard to remove, can reach the sole). Safety: wear gloves — hoof glue adheres excellently to skin too. Work in a ventilated space, keep glue away from the horse soft tissues, and follow the safety instructions.
