All three models share the same high quality – the difference lies in the need they are built for.
Scoot Boot Classic (the original)
Light, ventilated and hard-wearing with a fixed rear captivator. This is the classic model for a horse with a good, even heel height. Ideal for training, competition and general use. The fixed captivator can also be reshaped by boiling the boot in water for 2–3 minutes and moulding it to the horse’s unique hoof.
The Scoot Boot Classic comes in two versions: Slim and Regular.
Scoot Adjust (adjustable)
Has an adjustable rear captivator that makes it flexible for horses with high or low heels. If the horse’s heels differ from the optimal – or vary – Adjust lets you fine-tune the fit at the back. Suitable for both training and competition.
Scoot Adjust comes only in the Slim version, but thanks to its adjustable rear part it also fits hooves that would need Regular in the Scoot Boot Classic.
TheraRide (rehab)
The rehab model with a replaceable sole and an extra 10 mm of space for therapeutic pads. Built for rehabilitation – for example with sole sensitivity – where the hoof needs extra cushioning and room for therapeutic material. It has an adjustable captivator but is not intended for competition.
TheraRide comes only in the Slim version, but thanks to its adjustable rear part it also fits hooves that would need Regular in the Scoot Boot Classic.
In short: Classic for everyday use and competition, Adjust when the heels need a flexible fit, TheraRide when the hoof needs rehab and therapeutic pads.
Studs and ice studs for winter use
You can easily add both studs and ice studs to all models of Scoot Boots. This gives your horse secure grip on slippery ground – whether you choose Classic, Adjust or TheraRide.
For winter use and ice you use ice studs that screw into the boot’s sole for extra grip on ice and packed snow.
