You cannot drain the whole paddock — and you do not need to. The horse stands at the gate, the feeding spot and the water trough. Drain or gravel those surfaces, move feeding spots regularly, and create dry lying areas. Count the horse day in dry hours: every hour on dry ground is recovery for skin and horn.
